born in 1830, BUT the census records consistently showed she was born in 1848. * with a D for Died were wooden markers copied by Clarice Andrews which have long since disappeared. This was the Fredericktown Cemetery for Colored. This listing is the most complete listing we have at this time. There are MANY unmarked graves in this cemetery, the cemetery itself is most likely filled up as burials began in the 1930’s in what was called “New Greenwood Cemetery for Colored which is located behind the Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery on Hiway 67. |
