Francis, Laura – 1970
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 5 at the Snowdenville 
Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Laura Esther Francis, 61, who died on Dec 31 
at City Hospital in St. Louis.  

Mrs. Francis lived at 332 N. Sarah in ST. Louis.  She was born on Oct 11, 1909 
at Cornwall, the daughter of Calvin and Mary Guinn.  

She married Charles W. Francis on April 18, 1925 in Madison County.

Surviving brothers and sisters include Mrs. Blanche Tinnin, Thomas Guinn and 
Mrs. Gladys Forsythe.  Surviving children are Charles Francis, Jr. and Thomas 
E. Francis.  Also surviving are six grandchildren.  

Preceding Mrs. Francis in death were William Guinn, Clyde Guinn, Noah Guinn, 
Elsie Alexander and Cora Russell.

Burial was in the Snowdenville Cemetery.  The Wilson Funeral Home Handled 
the arrangements.
