Finley School at Mine La Motte
Date of this picture was between 1903-1905

There were two main schools at Mine La Motte,
the San Hill School & the Finley School at Mine La Motte. My great grandparents
Odis Edwin Rogers & Dovey Ann Watts Rogers BOTH went to the Finley School. The
old school I believe wasback behind what was called the old Reservoir or the
Freewill Baptist Church.
I was given this photo & was astounded to find my great grandmother on it. She
is in the 2nd row third from right in the colored dress, next to her are her
nieces Anna Skaggs & Olive (Ollie) Skaggs. Teacher is unknown.
