Barnett, Pearl - 1972
Chapel services were held on April 1 at the Wilson Funeral Home for Mrs. Pearl 
Barnett, who died on April 8 at the Duckworth Nursing Home.

She was born on Oct 4, 1903 in Fredericktown, the daughter of the late Frederick P. 
and Etta Ritter Copher.

She is survived by a sister, Blanche Powell, Elvins; and stepsister, Mrs. Esther Hovis.
Other surviving relatives include Robert and Grace Griffiths, with who she made her 
home; a niece Mrs. Norma Ruth Ates and a nephew, Robert Powell; two aunts, Mrs. 
Robert S. Cooper and Mrs. George Cooper; six great nieces and nephew, many c
ousins and friends.

Mrs. Barnett was member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.  Burial was in Christian 
Cemetery, with the Rev. Newman G. Matthews officiating.

The Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
