Bryson, Opal Swan – 1972
Funeral services were held April 27 for Mrs. Opal Swan Bryson, a former 
resident of Fredericktown and more recently of Arcadia Valley.  Mrs. Bryson 
died in St. Mary’s of the Ozarks Hospital in Ironton on April 25 at the age of 64.  

Before returning to Pilot Knob, Mrs. Bryson had taught in the Hazelwood 
School System in St. Louis County.

Following services in the First Baptist Church in Ironton, with White Service, 
she was buried in Memorial Park, Arcadia Valley.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Ann Siebert, Pilot Knob; a stepdaughter, 
Mrs. Dorothy Rencehausen, Cleveland, Ohio; two stepsons, Dr. Wm. F. Bryson, 
Fredericktown and Bob Bryson, Potosi; and a sister, Georgia Jones of St. Louis.

As a young woman Mrs. Bryson lived with her parents, a brother and sister 
on Anthony St., Fredericktown.
