Cartee, Noah James
Noah James Cartee of Womack died January 9, 1985 at Farmington Community 
Hospital.  He was 80.  

He was born December 14, 1904 in Doe Run to the late William and Mary (Duval) 
Cartee.  He married the former Corena Lenz who preceded him in death.  

Survivors include two sons, James Cartee of Flat River and George Cartee of 
Ste. Genevieve; two daughters Elouise McMahon of Wood River, Ill. and Mary 
Stevens of Anchorage, Ala.; two brothers, Ben Cartee and Willard Cartee, both 
of Womack; three 
sisters, Marie and Alma, both of St. Louis, and Stella of Bradenton, Fla.; ten 
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  

Sevrices were held Saturday, January 12 at Wilson Funeral Home with Father 
Quentin Hahn officiating.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Fredericktown.  
Mr. Cartee was a member of St. Michael's Church in Fredericktown. He was a 
retired farmer.
