Yvonne Velna "Granny" Cox

Yvonne Velna Cox, 81, of Ironton died December 2, 2003 in 
Farmington, Missouri.

She was born September 13, 1922, in St. Louis, a daughter 
of Roy E. and Ola (Long) Henry. On February 7, 1987 she was 
married to. W. "Slim" Cox.

Surviving Mrs. Cox and her husband; two sons, Donald Hicks 
of Ste Genevieve, and Ronald Hicks of Montana; two daughters, 
Carol Griggs of St. Louis and Cheryl Travison of Pilot Knob, 
Missouri; and three stepchildren, David Cox of California, Gale 
Baldwin of Kentucky and Betty Simpson of Utah.

Mrs. Cox had 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren as 
well as many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Cox graduated from Patton High School in 1940. She was 
a homemaker and member of Calvary Temple in Fredericktown.

Services were held December 5, 2003 from Calvary Temple in 
Fredericktown, Missouri. Burial was at Union Light Cemetery.

Arrangements made under the direction of Bryson Funeral Home 
in Pilot Knob, Missouri.
