Opal Jennetta Davis Opal Jennetta Davis, 86, of Patterson, Missouri died October 23, 2003 at her home in Patterson. She was born August 14, 1917 in Patterson, a daughter of the late Thomas and Melinda (Montgomery) Aldrich. On August 13, 1955 she was married to Delbert Davis who preceded her in death in 1980. Also preceding Mrs. Davis in death were one infant son, Richard Leon Wilcox; two brothers, Raymond and Aruther Aldrich; and one sister, Augusta Hawkins. Mrs. Davis is survived by one son, Dean Davis of Fredericktown; and one daughter, Donna Davis of Patterson. She had seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great- grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was a member of Little Lake General Baptist Church in Patterson and was a Sunday school teacher. She was owner and operator of the Upholstery shop in Patterson. Also Mrs. Davis was owner and operator of a restaurant and grocery store. She enjoyed family, friends and country music. Services were held October 25, 2003 at Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont with Elder Darrel Silvy officiating. Interment was at Rowland-Woods Cemetery in Patterson, Missouri. Pallbearers were: Everett Carter, James Penrod, Marvin Browers, Kevin Montgomery, Ray Hukel, Jimmy Parr, J.R. Grindstaff, and Peter Picou.
