Eaton, Thelma 1971
Mrs. Thelma Bess Eaton, resident of Tulsa. Okla, for the past several years, 
died on Sept 3, in a Tulsa hospital after heart surgery.

Her funeral was held from the Miller Funeral Chapel in Farmington on Monday, 
Sept 6, burial was in Park Lawn Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late John and Lillie (Ellis) Bess, former residents 
of Fredericktown.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Clarence Eaton; her parents, a sister 
Maude and a brother, Roscoe.

Mrs. Eaton is survived by a daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Speers, three grand-
children of Tulsa; a brother, Luther Bess of Farmington and an aunt, Mrs. Mollie 
Nelson, Omaha, Neb. And several cousins and many friends.

Miss Isa Bess and Mrs. Virginia Todd of Fredericktown, first cousins of Mrs. Eaton’s, 
attended the funeral.
