Ferling, Mabel A. – 1973
Mabel A. Ferling  of Farmington was born Dec. 30, 1906 at Fredericktown and 
died July 29th at Mineral area Osteopathic Hospital at the age of 67.  She was 
a daughter of the late George Rehkop and Josie Cole Rehkop.  She was preceded 
in death by her first husband, Charles R. Schrum in 1957.

Survivng are three daughters; Jean, (Mrs. Thomas B.) Halter, Farmington; Zelma 
(Mrs. Marvin) Lee, Apache Junction, Ariz.; and Charlotte (Mrs. Garland) Summers, 
Farmington; four grandchildren one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille 
Asberry, Detroit, and Mrs. Ollie Lacomb, Detroit; one brother Floyd Rehkop, 
Fredericktown.

Funeral services were Wednesday at 12 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in 
Farmington with the Rev. J. Loren Jolly officiating.

Burial was at Parkview Cemetery under the direction of Caldwell Funeral 
Home of Flat River.
