Francis, Charles Edward - 1980
Chapel services for Charles Edward (Buzz) Francis were 
held Sunday, February 3 at the Wilson Funeral Home with 
the Rev. Ken Beavers officiating.  Burial was in Revelle 
Cemetery.  

Mr. Francis died Friday, February 1 at Madison Memorial 
Hospital at the age of 41.  Pallbears were Jay Francis, 
Chuck Ward, Tim Pippin, Bud McDowel, Bill Conrad and 
Roy Losh.  

Mr. Francis was born August 4, 1938 to Leo and Verna Francis.  
He married the former Judith Dugge October 25, 1961 in Saco.  
She survives.  

Other survivors include seven children, Tamela, Richard, Melissa, 
Marilyn, Charla, Amanda and Amy, all living at home; six sisters, 
Dorothy Mathes, Hilda Francis, Betty Bastic, Patty Pruett, 
Faye Vacca and Kay Bradford; five brothers, John, David, Harold, 
Howard and Leo Francis; 14 nieces, 23 nephews, two great-nephews
and many other relatives.  

Preceding Mr. Francis in death were his grandparents, Charles 
and Effie Cooper and Ed and Saphrona Francis.  Mr. Francis was 
affiliated with the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.
