Grace, David P.
Chapel services for David P. Grace of Patton were held Wednesday, March 9 at 
Hansmann Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Cureton officiating.  Burial was in 
Whitener Cemetery.  

Pallbearers were Bernard Edmond, G.A. Hales, Emmett Shoffner, Buddy Davis, 
Phil Vincent and Danny Huffman.  

Mr. Grace died Monday, March 7 at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 56.  
He was a retired machinist.  he was born June 11, 1926 in Macon County, Tenn. to 
David and Athalean Grace.  He married Mary James of Patton who survives.  

Other survivors include his father, David grace of Patton; his mother, Athalean Grace 
of Indianapolis, Ind.; a son, Gary Cooper of Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia 
Faye Johnson of Patton and Mrs. Patricia Louise Davis and Mrs. Cynthia Vincent, 
both of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Mrs. Janice Whitworth of Indianapolis, Ind. and nine 
grandchildren.  

Preceding Mr. Grace in death was a son, David Michael Grace.
