McClellan, Harriett Mrs. Harriett McClellan age 92, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Addie Shoemaker, 113 East College, on Nov. 7. She was born Feb. 7, 1881 in Madison County, the daughter of the late John and Mary Carlton. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ed. They were married in 1900 at Millcreek. Surviving children include Mrs. George (Ethel) Miller; Earl McClellan, Mrs. Addie (Eula) Shoemaker, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Brotherton, Fredericktown; and Mrs. Max (Bessie) Hewitt, Riverside, Calif. Other surviving relatives include 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. Two sisters preceded her in death, Sophia Cloninger and Emma Tripp, along with four brothers, Fred, Lige, Charley and Robert Carlton. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were held on Nov 9 at the Wilson Funeral Home with burial in Christian Cemetery. The officiating minister was the Rev. S. A. Hand. Pallbearers were Charles Brotherton, Addie Shoemaker Jr., Carl McClellan, Joe Carlton, Ronnie Graham, and Robert Brotherton. The Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
