Reagan, James Emmett James Emmett Reagan of Patton, a retired farmer, died Wednesday, August 3, 1983 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was 79. Funeral services were held Friday, August 5 at Pine Hill Church with the Rev. Floyd Statler and the Rev. C.E. Henson officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were George Ward, G.A. Hale, Neal Cowling, C.C. Mattingly, Dale Davis and Harold Clark. Mr. Reagan was born October 16, 1903 in Bollinger County to the late Ed and Sarah (Long) Reagan. He married the former Myrtle Fulton December 22, 1928 in Fredericktown. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Willa Dean Combs of Fredericktown; a son, Ivan Reagan of Patton; three sisters, Edna Faircloth of Fredericktown, Erna Shrum of Marquand and Nola Brotherton of Jackson; five grandchildren and five great- grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Preceding Mr. Reagan in death were his parents; a brother, Marvin Reagan and two sisters, Flora Henderson and Elma Reagan. He was a member of Union Light Free Will Baptist Church.
