Richards, Rebecca Jane - 1980
Rebecca Jane Richards of Fredericktown died Saturday, 
February 16 at the age of 96.  

Funeral services were held Monday, February 18 at the 
Marquand United Methodist Church with the Rev. Willard 
Snyder officiating.  Burial was in Moore's Chapel Cemetery.  
The Homan Funeral Home handled the arrangements.  

She was born October 4, 1883 in Bollinger County to the late 
Stephen and Dovie (Hale) Huggman.  In may of 1901 she 
married William Richards who preceded her in death 
January 31, 1960.  

Survivors include a daughter, Gladys Hovis of Fredericktown; 
three brothers, Lee Huffman of Fredericktown, Hayden Huffman 
of Marquand and Henry Huffman of Farmington and many nieces 
and nephews.  

Preceding Mrs. Richards in death were her parents; her husband; 
three sisters, Lou Stephens, Clara Shetley and Mellie Davis and 
two brothers, Don Huffman and Elbert Huffman.
