Elsie Tripp

Elsie Tripp, 64, of Marquand died December 3, 2003 at her home 
in Marquand.

She was born November 24, 1939 in St. Louis, a daughter of 
Theron T. and Edna (Nichols) Sparks.

On February 11, 1984 she was married to Everett Tripp of Marquand. 
Preceding Mrs. Tripp in death were her parents.

Surviving Mrs. Tripp are her husband; and two sons, Gregory and 
Andrew Mier both of California. She had nine grandchildren and 
seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Tripp was a homemaker and member of the Marquand First 
Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Lodge 
She enjoyed collecting antiques.

Services were held December 5, 2003 at Follis and Sons Funeral 
Chapel with Reverend Bud Snyder officiating. Burial was at Marcus 
Memorial Park Cemetery in Fredericktown.

Pallbearers were Mike Nichols, Howard Nichols, Dewey Wayne Ivey Jr., 
John Maddock, Dayton Reagan and Jerry Bellew.
